DECIDUOUS. (syn. 'Gwen's Rose Delight') is a spectacular, theatrical variegated Japanese maple celebrated for its vibrant, multi-toned canopy. Deeply lobed leaves emerge in spring a vivid burgundy-purple with bright pink margins, transition to olive-green and cream in summer, and fire up into deep crimson and scarlet tones before dropping in autumn. Initially upright with a vase-like habit, its branches become gracefully arching and semi-weeping with age.
